I love this ad campaign. Snapped this picture at Waterloo Station over 12 months ago, and saw it on a bus for the first time yesterday too.

The Register has an excellent collection of reader submitted pictures of military bases, secret facilities, missile ranges, and more from Google Earth. All 11 pages are well worth a look. Full marks to The Reg for compiling this.

Brit gossip essentials

Almost two years of exposure to Britain has made me appreciate much of what’s listed on Cunts Corner and Rules of Modern Life. Make sure you go right through from A-Z on CC, there’s some classic entries. The Holy Moly mailout is quite entertaining too. While you’re at it, sign up for POPBITCH as well.

BBC News: “At least five people remain in hospital after breaking limbs during Oxford’s traditional May Day bridge jump. With water levels at little more than knee-deep still people ignored warnings and jumped from the bridge, injuring themselves and others.”

Harvard Business Review Managing Yourself

Just started reading a special edition of Harvard Business Review with lots of articles on Managing
Yourself. HBR admit a departure from the norm into self-help, however the articles on career
management, life and work balance have been quite interesting and engaging so far. Recommend
picking up a copy at one of the bigger newsagents such as WH Smith, GBP15.20 though!
